Panel on “The Hittites and the Family” Held
A panel titled “The Hittites and the Family” was held at the Abdülkadir Ozulu Conference Hall of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tolga Çırak. Speakers Prof. Dr. Aygül Süel and Dr. Eric Luc Jean provided information on the structure, characteristics, and functions of the family institution in Hittite society.
The program was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Işık, along with faculty members and students.
At the end of the panel, Dean Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Işık presented certificates of appreciation to the participants. The event concluded with a group photograph.
